Periodic War Correspondence from the Conspiracy

In Ben's Words:

March 20th, 2K3.

Brothers and Sisters,

On Wednesday, March 19, our President addressed the United States of America to officially declare war on the sovereign State of Iraq. His declaration was marked with a volley of 24 missiles launched from stealth bombers over Baghdad, and from aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf. President Bush stated that it is not the intention of the United States to harm the Iraqi people. His goal is to remove Saddam Hussein from power. The unfortunate reality of this is quite grim. There is no way to reach Saddam without killing thousands of Iraqi men, women, and children.

We, the members of CONSPIRACY OF THOUGHT, ask you to pray for the Iraqi peoples protection and safety. Pray that God will stay the hand of our American soldiers as they deal out judgment and death. Also, we ask you to pray for our President. That he will swallow his pride and recognize that this war is not morally just. Go out and march for peace. Vote for peace. Beg and plead for peace. We've read this book called "War" before, and we know how it ends: In misery, weeping, and hatred. NO MORE WAR!!!

CONSPIRACY OF THOUGHT

March 30th, 2K3

Brothers and Sisters

The first week of WAR in Iraq has reaped the fruit of it's labor. Over 30 US soldiers are dead. 27 British soldiers are dead. Seven Americans have been captured as Prisoners Of War, and our main ground force hasn't even reached Baghdad yet. Hundreds of 'Smart' bombs and missiles have been dropped on the cities of Iraq. In Basra, Baghdad, Mosel, Kirkuk, An Nasiriyah, Al Hillah, Karbala, and Ar Ramadi Iraqi combatants and noncombatants have been killed as a result of the US led air campaign. Coalition Forces' "runaway missiles" have strayed into Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia; producing Collateral Damage's of their own. As of yet there have been no Weapons Of Mass Destruction used on US troops, or found by US forces. Iraqi casualties (dead) already number in the thousands.

No matter how horrifically disproportionate the numbers are between Coalition and Iraqi dead the ends remains the same. Mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, wives, children, and friends all weep for the loss of their loved ones. Life will never be the same for them. Please pray for the families of the dead on all sides. War is said to be unpredictable, but in it there is always one constant: Death. No matter how righteous our intentions are towards the Iraqi people no one can liberate the dead. Can a WAR truly free Iraq? CONSPIRACY OF THOUGHT
