Ben
Stewart
Ben brings a conviction and presence to CONSPIRACY
OF THOUGHT that is truly haunting. Borrowing from
great rock orators such as Bono (U2) and Chuck-D (Public
Enemy) Ben frequently, mid song, and in an almost possessed fashion,
begins preaching, begging, and screaming in the vernacular of the
songs political or social thrust. His vocal approach emulates a
gruff mixture of Maynard Keenan (A Perfect Circle/TOOL), and James
Brown. As a musician, Ben’s use of the guitar is as physical
as it is musical, experimenting with feedback, delays, and rock
anthemic riffs.

Devanand
Bassanoo
Devanand
has a distinct eastern sensibility when it comes to guitar playing.
His influences are far ranging, from System of a Down to Guided
By Voices. With an ethereal voice, like a mystic’s call to
prayer, Dev gives vocal support in songs like “Jihad” and “I
Had a Dream.” Devanand’s soaring guitar solos, punishing
rhythms, and penetrating keyboard melodies help to set the mood
for a thought-provoking musical journey.

Michael
Parshall
Mike
breaks things; strings, equipment, bass guitars. And rampaging
across the stage is what he does best. Having studied music in
collage, Mike uses his accumulated skills and techniques as a backbone
for his funk laden (sometimes Prymus-esque) bass lines. Inspired
by vocalists such as Mike-D (Beasty Boys) and Zack De La Rocha
(Rage Against the Machine) Mike has created a unique and aggressive
vocal style that perfectly compliments CONSPIRACY
OF THOUGHT’s musical and political agenda.

Tony
Vasquez
Tony
has played drums since he was 10 years old. Throughout multiple
bands and projects he honed his skills and perfected a technique
of
play that pushed conventional boundaries. Experimenting with
drum triggers,
electronic pads, and orchestral sound bites he finally broke
from the sole convention of acoustic drums. Tony’s musical
influences are broadly ranging; from KORN to Nine Inch Nails,
TOOL to U2.
His beats incorporate elements of Hip-Hop, rock, funk, and industrial,
yet Tony uses all of these styles in harmony- propelling CONSPIRACY
OF THOUGHT’s music to the rhythmic breaking
point.
