An Open Letter From Conspiracy Of Thought

Co-Conspirators

We are most grieved today to hear about the events unfolding in New York and Washington DC. Our hearts were wrenched to see pictures of the airline jet plummet into the towers of the World Trade Center. The loss of life in this event is absolutely catastrophic. There is no conceivable reason that a group of people would hijack a network of aircraft, full of civilian passengers, and use them as suicide torpedoes. If you have any friends or family that were involved in this tragic event, Conspiracy Of Thought would like to offer our most sincere and heartfelt condolences.

CO-CONSPIRATORS UNITE!

As a result of this tragedy there is a desperate need for donors to give blood. Please go to your local blood bank or Red Cross and give up some of you precious hemoglobin. The Red Cross will be shipping blood to New York where it is sorely needed. Also be sure to remember the victims and families in your prayers. We ask in the days ahead that you remember to be good to one another. Care for your fellow man in this time of need. And above all, we ask that you not resort to the tactics of hate used by those who would harm us. There are among us MANY, MANY peoples of Mediterranean heritage and/or Islamic faith who renounce this type of senseless violence. Indeed, it has not yet been confirmed who is even behind the attack.

Although we have seen the worst of humanity this day, remember that in the compassionate response of volunteers, emergency personnel, and citizens banded together, we have seen the best of humanity as well.

Together we can Change the world. NO MORE WAR!!!

Sincerely,

CONSPIRACY OF THOUGHT
September 11th, 2001

"Compassion is YOUR pain in MY heart."

I'm sorry, I cannot remember who said that, but I also cannot get it out of my head. These photos were chosen to remind us of the humanity involved in the events of September 11th, 2001, or 911 as it is being called. People, real people like you and me, lost their lives. Innocent people, who were not fighting some war, or occupying some strategic target, but were merely putting in another day's work. Or traveling. Or looking forward to seeing family, or friends, or lovers. The people who loved those who were lost are still hurting. For those of us who escaped the tragedy with out harm, in body, in mind, and in our families, we will surely go on. But let us remember those who's lives were taken from them, by those whose faces we cannot see, for some cause we do not, CANNOT understand. And, let us sit beside their families as they mourn.

Our President quoted this passage today, and I find it appropriate.

"The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."
